Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks (or fresh mango plus a handful of ice)
  • 3 ounces silver (blanco) tequila
  • 1.5 ounces triple sec or Cointreau
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • 1–2 teaspoons agave nectar or simple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1 cup ice (adjust for thickness)
  • Pinch of salt (enhances flavor)
  • Tajin or chili-lime seasoning and coarse salt for the rim (optional)
  • Lime wheel and/or mango slice for garnish

Method

  1. Prep the glasses: Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass. Dip into a mix of coarse salt and Tajin for a sweet-heat edge. Set aside.
  2. Load the blender: Add frozen mango, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, agave (if using), ice, and a small pinch of salt.
  3. Blend until smooth: Start low, then blend on high for 20–30 seconds. Add more ice for a thicker texture or a splash of water for a looser sip.
  4. Taste and tweak: Need more brightness? Add a squeeze of lime. Want it sweeter? Add a touch more agave. Prefer stronger? Add a 1/2 ounce more tequila.
  5. Serve: Pour into the prepared glass, garnish with a lime wheel or mango slice, and enjoy immediately.
