Easy Strawberry Daiquiri Cocktail - Bright, Fresh, and Ready in Minutes

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • Frozen strawberries: 2 cups, hulled (store-bought or frozen from fresh)
  • White rum: 4 to 6 ounces (light rum works best)
  • Fresh lime juice: 2 ounces (about 2 limes)
  • Simple syrup: 1 to 2 ounces, to taste
  • Ice: 1 to 2 cups (adjust for thickness)
  • Pinch of salt: Optional, to brighten flavors
  • Garnishes: Lime wheel, fresh strawberry, or a small mint sprig

Method

  1. Prep your blender: Add the frozen strawberries to the pitcher first. This helps everything blend evenly.
  2. Add the liquids: Pour in the white rum, fresh lime juice, and 1 ounce of simple syrup. Add a small pinch of salt if using.
  3. Blend with ice: Start with 1 cup of ice and blend on high until smooth. If it’s too thick, add a splash of water or more rum. If it’s too thin, add a handful more ice.
  4. Taste and adjust: Sip and tweak. Add more lime for brightness, more syrup for sweetness, or more rum for strength. Blend briefly to combine.
  5. Serve cold: Pour into chilled cocktail or coupe glasses. Garnish with a lime wheel or strawberry. Serve immediately.
