Prep the fruit: Rinse and dry berries. Peel and chop larger fruits into bite-size pieces. Pat very juicy fruit dry with a paper towel to prevent sogginess.
Sweeten or flavor the yogurt (optional): Stir in a little honey or maple syrup and a splash of vanilla.
For brightness, add a pinch of lemon zest.
Start the base layer: Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of yogurt into each cup and smooth it out.
Add fruit: Scatter a colorful mix over the yogurt. Aim for a single layer so it looks neat and every bite is balanced.
Repeat layers: Add another layer of yogurt, then more fruit. Two to three layers look great in clear cups.
Add crunch at the end: Top with granola, nuts, or coconut right before serving so it stays crisp.
Finish with a drizzle: A light zigzag of honey or maple, plus a sprinkle of cinnamon or chia seeds if you like.
Serve or chill: Enjoy immediately, or cover and refrigerate.
Add crunchy toppings just before eating.
